Debates and Debating
Global Youth Debates has a unique approach to formal debating. Each debate is setup as a 'simulated synchronous' debate using a Web 2.0 tool called Voicethread. This means that schools and debate teams are able to complete all sections of a debate over a period of 10-14 days.
Debate teams come from all parts of the world and it takes time for each team to receive and respond but the requirement is for live responses to be recorded onto Voicethread each time, hence the simulated synchronous approach. |
