We are using Edmodo to create an online learning community to facilitate the global debates.
We have the group set up and we are ready to have everyone create their handshakes to introduce yourselves to everyone.

ONE Go to www.edmodo.com
TWO Click on either "I'm a Teacher" or "I'm a Student" based on who you are.
THREE The group code has been sent via email to all teachers
FOUR When typing in your first name be sure to place a _ (underscore) followed by school code
For example, Aaron_BMS (Aaron with school Bettendorf Middle School)
This helps everyone keep track of where people are from when communicating.
FIVE Once logged in you will see small groups over on the left side. The first challenge is posted in the Virtual Handshake group. Take a look at the instructions and then have fun showcasing who you are.
SIX Play around on the site a bit. The best way to learn is to tinker around.
